Prof. Dr. Jamuna Bini was born on 10th October, 1984 in Ziro (Arunachal Pradesh).
A Gold Medalist in M.A Hindi, she is a multilingual author and a poetess.
She writes in Hindi as well as in her monther-tongue Nyishi. Dr. Bini has a kaleidoscope of literature ranging from travelogues, short stories to poetry.
Her book, “Uiimok” has been included in the NCERT curriculum of Rajasthan and in the M.A curriculum of Allahabad University.
Her works have been translated to other Indian languages like Santhali, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Assamese and very recently in Turkish too.
Currently, she is teaching at the prestigious, Rajiv Gandhi University in the Department of Hindi.
